Welcome to the Topic ” The Future of Web Design “

As technology advances, so does web design. What was once only possible with Flash is now being accomplished with basic HTML and CSS.

As we enter into a new era of web design, what can we expect to see?

One trend that is likely to resume is the use of responsive design. With more and more individuals using mobile devices to access the web, websites must be able to adapt to different screen sizes. Responsive design allows websites to do just that by using flexible grids and media queries.

So, what does the future of web design look like?

It’s hard to say for sure, but we can expect to see more

  • Responsive designs,
  • SVG graphics, and
  • 3D animations and effects
  • Dynamic websites etc

We may also move away from static websites toward more interactive and dynamic ones.

Another modern development that is likely to continue is SVG graphics. Unlike traditional bitmap images, SVG graphics are vector-based, which means they can be scaled up or down without losing any quality. SVG graphics makes them perfect for use on responsive websites.

We may also see more websites making use of 3D animations and effects. With tools like Three.js, it is now possible to create sophisticated 3D animations with just a few lines of code.

Finally, we may move away from static websites toward more interactive and dynamic ones. With the release of tools like React and Angular 2, it is now possible to create websites that are not only beautiful but also interactive.

Here’s what the future of web design is expected to look like.

Responsive Design

One modern t that is likely to continue is responsive design. With more and more users utilizing mobile devices to access the web, websites must be able to adapt to different screen sizes.

Responsive design allows websites to do just that by using flexible grids and media queries.

SVG Graphics

Another trend that is likely to continue is the use of SVG graphics. Unlike traditional bitmap images, SVG graphics are vector-based, which means they can be scaled up or down without losing any quality. This makes them perfect for use on responsive websites.

3D Animations and Effects

We may also see more websites making use of 3D animations and effects. With tools like Three.js, it is now possible to create sophisticated 3D animations with just a few lines of code.

Dynamic Websites

We may move away from static websites toward more interactive and dynamic ones. With the release of tools like React and Angular 2, it is now possible to create websites that are not only beautiful but also interactive.

Augmented Reality

Another trend that is likely to continue is the use of Augmented Reality. With tools like ARKit and ARCore, it is now possible to create websites that allow users to interact with 3D objects using their mobile devices.

SVG Graphics

We may also see more websites making use of SVG graphics. Unlike traditional bitmap images, SVG graphics are vector-based, which means they can be scaled up or down without losing any quality. SVG  graphics makes them perfect for use on responsive websites.

Accessible Websites

A move towards more accessible websites can also be witnessed. With tools like WAI-ARIA and Bobby, it is now possible to create websites that are beautiful and accessible to everyone, regardless of their level of disability.

The websites need to be visible to people and accessible with different browsers. Different assistive technologies should be used to ensure that the website content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.

The trend for web design shortly is for more accessibility. Websites will need to be designed to make them easy to use for everyone, regardless of their abilities.

This means using clear and concise text, simple layouts, and plenty of contrast between elements. It also means using appropriate markup and semantics to ensure that screen-reader and other assistive technologies can interpret the content correctly.

Use of Chatbots

Another modern feature that is likely to continue is the use of chatbots. Chatbots are computer programs that can mimic human conversation, and they are perfect for use on websites that require customer support.

Websites are becoming more and more customer-oriented. Therefore, chatbots will be significant in the customer service industry.

CSS Grid Layout

One trend that is predicted to continue is CSS Grid Layout. CSS Grid Layout is a new layout system that allows you to create complex layouts without hacks or workarounds. It’s still in development, but it looks like it will be a big part of the future of web design.

WebVR

Finally, we may see a move towards more immersive websites with the release of tools like WebVR. With WebVR, it is possible to create websites that allow users to interact with 3D objects using their VR headset.

3D Animations

Thanks to tools like Three.js, it is now possible to create sophisticated 3D animations with just a few lines of code, making them perfect for use on websites that require a high level of sophistication and professionalism.

GIFs

We may also move away from static images toward more animated GIFs. GIFs are a great way to add motion and life to your website, and they are perfect for use on social media websites like Twitter and Facebook.

Conclusion

Lastly, we expect to see more websites using CSS Grid Layout, WebVR, and 3D animations soon. These technologies are still in development, but they hold a lot of potential for the future of web design.

So, what does the future of web design look like?

It’s hard to say, but we can expect to see more responsive designs, SVG graphics, 3D animations and effects, interactive websites, accessible websites, chatbots, and immersive websites. The one thing we know for sure is that it will be an exciting time for web designers.
